Forthcoming New Initiative

We are in the process of creating a total face - lift of our Shri Bhrugurushi Temple at Bharuch . We have already formed a nodal team of project leaders and the task force to support this initiative. The site for the new temple will be the same as that of the existing one. Featured with this will be the following.

The detailed architectural plan has already been worked out. Cost estimates and project scheduling exercise are complete. Teams have been organized to work on the project - both for project implementation and for corpus creation. We have started getting overwhelming response. We look forward to everyone, all over, to join hands and contribute maximum.

Praful K. Thakore (75) : Raised in Bharuch and thenafter all along in Mumbai(Bombay). 40 years of professional experience working with industries in different sectors - textiles, automotive, mechanical fabrication, colour manufacturing, bearings, and civil construction. Settled in Bharuch in 1979 . Since 1997 he is associated with two of the Bhrugurushi's office's apex trusts as President- Shri Bhargav Samastha Panch Trust and Shri

Bhargav Grushastha Panch Trust. The initiative if renovating the Maharshi Bhrugurushi Temple is his motivation. Very dedicated to work. Possesses cool temper.

A commerce graduate. Worked with the state government departments in various capacities, attaining the status of Chief Auditor of Baroda Municipal Corporation.

A Chartered Engineer and a Govt. approved valuer from Central Board of Direct Taxes. An alumnus of prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (1974) with specialization in structural engineering for earthquake resistant structures- a-B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering. Founded his own firm, M/S Janak M.Vakil, and has been its proprietor since 1984, with headquarters in Ankleshwar. The firm is active in multifarious structural designs and construction activities and has to its credit turnkey accomplishments for organisations like - Glaxo (India) Ltd, RPG Life Sciences, Rallis (India) Ltd; Ion Exchange (India) Ltd., Gujarat Insecticides Ltd; Gujarat Guardian Ltd; Zandu Chemicals Ltd; Norris Medicines Ltd., Cadilla Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Jayant Packaging Pvt. Ltd., Paras Textiles; many more are in the offing. Also, is instrumental for many non-industrial projects in Bharuch district, involving schools, hospitals, places of worship, commercial centres, hotels, housing societies and bungalows.

A Member of IEEE, Power Engineering Society, Instrument & Control Society. Author of many proprietary technical papers.

Currently working as a Director of Research & Development Engineering with Chauvin -Arnoux, Inc., conducting technology research and directing development activities for new products worldwide. Current areas involve leading edge wireless technologies for intelligent sensors, high speed microprocessors for complex processing and information generation & transport over the standard internet. Earlier affiliations and titles include Director of Engineering with Gulton Graphics Instruments (1996-1998); Director of Engineering with Hipotronics (1994-1996) NY; and Engineering Manager at Keithley Instruments(1980-1993).As a project director was instrumental in setting up manufacturing facility in Fuchou, China. While in India, was selected for National Merit Scholarship and American Field Service International Scholarship to stay for an year with an American family and study in an American High School (Graduated with honours from Shaker Heights High School -1968).
